A Marriage of Purpose

Camels are extraordinarily well adapted to look goofy. I suppose some of that sentiment in me is due to my unfamiliarity with the animal. I've never known a camel personally. But from my brief encounters with the creature, something clearly compelled me to devote a great gob of time and energy into making what you see here.

It is altogether possible that I got a few of the details wrong, but if it was ever important to camels, or those who've selectively bred them to be what they are, why is it that to ride one, you have to sit atop a pointed hump? Didn't they know about horses? But, hey, a camel can go forever without food or water, however inconvenient the rest of the creature may be.
